Corporate Wellbeing Workshops
Knowledge is a powerful tool. While some people feel readily motivated to try practices, others favour an understanding of concepts and ideas, realise their worth and then feel motivated to apply them to their life.
Our wellbeing education explores something that’s largely missing from traditional education: what it actually means to live as a healthy human being. While much of our education prepares us to become effective workers, it rarely teaches us how to manage stress, build resilience or look after our physical and mental wellbeing. These workshops help us recognise the hidden pressures of modern life and the workplace—many of which we’ve become so accustomed to that we no longer notice their impact.
Stress costs the UK economy billions of pounds each year and is a major element of long term absence.

Workload stress just cannot be ignored as a stand alone stressor or contributory stressor which seriously impacts the quality of life and work performance of millions of people, and doing so can further contribute to a general climate of strain and anxiety.
Stress can also rapidly escalate into long term anxiety and depression, so we call this workshop the anti-stress express as it’s about finding methods, skills and techniques right now in this moment to break the vicious cycle and activate a more relaxed state of being.
Summary:
- Understanding The nervous system: Fight & Flight and Rest & Digest
- Causes of stress
- Good stress and bad stress
- What stress and anxiety do to us
- Amplified stress equals the need for amplified relaxation
- De-escalation: Skills & tools to beat stress and anxiety in the moment
- Suggested resources for de-stressing outside of work
Our health coaching workshops for staff wellness are structured on an integrated-health approach.

Our workshops focus on four key lifestyle areas with proven impact on daily performance and long-term health:
- Sleep optimisation: helping staff build restorative sleep habits that enhance cognitive functions and improve mental resilience
- Stress management tools: teaching staff how to proactively manage stress, to improve their decision-making and concentration, and prevent stress leave
- Anti-inflammatory nutrition: focusing on strengthening immunity and prevention of sick leave from illnesses
- Sustainable exercise routines: creating personalised exercise plans to boost physical and mental resilience
These are very hands-on, practical tools that people learn during the workshops and can take into their lifestyle.
Similar to other workshops we can also of course create bespoke variations around these themes, such as ‘healthy sleep for productivity and creativity’; ‘the role of gut microbiome for strong mental health; ‘sustainable exercise for women of perimenopause and menopause age’.
These can also be delivered in different formats, for example:
- Team Coaching
Sessions for groups of 6–10 employees, built around shared health challenges identified through a pre-session survey - Company-wide Breakfast or Lunch Seminar/ Presentation
- 1:1 Individual Coaching for the Executive Level. Focusing on personal health goals of the individual
Mental health is thankfully becoming a much more widely accepted topic of conversation, however encouraging people to open up at work, or employees simply feeling comfortable enough to open up in that environment can be challenging.

Despite how much time we spend at work (although with the advent of technology, actual quality human interaction time can be restricted) it can still be a minefield to either approach someone who’s in need, or to reach out for help when you need it. Fear of judgement, shame, concerns around job security, all these factors play a role.
We can build bespoke workshops with many nuances, up to a whole day in length, and also incorporate our East – West approach where our Mental Health professional also has experience in yoga, meditation and relaxation and deliver crossovers including holistic wellness techniques.
A workshop can include these elements:
- What is Mental Health
- Looking at Mental Health conditions, signs and symptoms (group work & role play)
- How to address them (group work & role play)
- Mental Health crisis management
- How to deal with severe, chronic or enduring MH issues
- Support & Resources
- What can be done on the Organisation level?
- Practical Techniques

Out of all the phrases we hear in relation to the vagaries of workplace wellness, ‘I can’t switch off’ is one of the most common!

It’s amazing how we crave to just sit still and be at peace, to do ‘nothing’ but when it comes to it, it’s actually one of the most difficult things to achieve! It’s because what we actually want is to have a quieter mind, not to actually do nothing. And that’s a very different thing! Your nervous system gets revved up over the course of hours, weeks, months or stress, and similarly it can take a while to unwind – unless you have some choice wisdom to hand about understanding how you operate as a human being and some amplified relaxation techniques!
- Introduction and context – My own background with stress and fatigue
- Reasons why it’s essential to ‘switch off’
- Understanding that depletion is not always about activity, but rather the lack of quality rest ‘switching off’
- Understanding how the body is designed to flow with rest and activity
- Breathing exercises to balance left and right brain function and to induce relaxation
- Deep Relaxation sequence
- Tips for switching off and workplace wellness
We offer wellness workshops for each season at Creative Wellness, but winter comes with so many challenges that demand goes through the (icy) roof!

As explained in our regular seasonal workshops, each season stimulates different faculties within the body-mind, and Winter is the most ‘Yin’ season. Essentially it’s the season where nature slows to it’s slowest rhythm, to conserve and collect for the seasons that follow. But here in the western world we tend to buck that natural inclination to rest deeply and instead charge through the winter at an even more ferocious pace than other seasons, the results of which can be chronic depletion which after the festivities can starkly hit home as depression.
And of course the festive season itself comes with numerous challenges:
- The peer pressure to be social – when naturally you might feel least like it
- Managing the over consumption that can happen at this time of year alongside the after affects of it
- The squeeze on your time as you try to juggle getting work done prior to the holiday with shopping and family commitments
- The challenges of the weather
- Handling social and family dynamics
- The difficulty of trying to maintain exercise and dietary routines
- Regaining a sense of purpose and inspiration in January and February
Nutrition workshops are universally popular!

Nutrition is connected with so many aspects of our health – physically, mentally and emotionally – and we can often use it to compensate for other areas of our life that are out of balance so there is so much to explore with our experts.
While we offer more generic nutrition workshops, we also offer cooking classes (facilities dependent) as well as focusing on specialist areas:
- Nutrition for energy
- Nutrition for mood
- Digestive and gut health
- Dietary structures and principles
YES! We build bespoke workshops!
The options above are indicative, but we create many unique workshops.
We can combine theory with practical options such as mindfulness, meditation & relaxation.
